Announcement/Reminder for Fall 2024 Residency Practicum students
Must attempt the Praxis prior to Nov. 9 in order to be eligible to student teach Spring 2025
It is a mandatory student teaching requirement for students to attempt the content assessment (Praxis) before they are eligible to student teach. After taking the test, students will receive an email from the Praxis program confirming that they took the test. The next day they will receive an email from Praxis stating that they can see their score on their account. We can accept either one of these emails from Praxis. The student can forward either one of these emails to steach@sys-filter.com or email us a screenshot of their Praxis account with their score on it. We need proof that they have attempted the Praxis before they are eligible to start student teaching in January.
